The Yutong ZK6126 is a series of 12 meter city buses produced by Yutong. Available versions since launch include ZK6126HGA, ZK6126HGB, ZK6126HGC, ZK6126HGE, ZK6126HGL and ZK6126HGZ.
The ZK6126HGC is essentially the low-entry variant, powered by a diesel engine.
SMRT used to operate one demonstrator unit of the Yutong ZK6126HGC.
In 2009, SMRT received a Yutong ZK6126HGC demonstrator for evaluation. It was the first Chinese made city bus to be operated as a public bus in Singapore, and features a full length rear Electronic Destination Signage (EDS) that is capable of showing the route details in addition to the service number.
At the end of a trial in 2010, the bus was returned to the dealer and no further purchases were made. It was sold to Bedok Transport in 2011.
